Bart Klimek | Sports Massage Therapist

Work with Bart

Bart completed his degree in Bsc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation at the University of Hull with a First Class Honours. During the degree, Bart gained clinical experience in sports massage with professional and semi-professional sports teams. Those teams included; Hull Ionians RUFC, Batley Bulldogs RLFC, Doncaster Rovers F.C. and Bottesford Town. To gain further experience in Sports Massage, Bart also volunteered to provide event support at CrossFit competitions taking place in Hull and is currently a Sport Rehabilitator at Hall Road Rangers.

Bart specialises in Sports Massage Therapy and can also offer other soft tissue techniques such as Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release and PNF Stretching, all aiming to improve joint range of motion, provide muscular relaxation, speed up recovery and getting rid of muscular tightness. Bart is an enthusiastic, motivated and easy going professional, who always interacts with clients to ensure that that they feel at ease and relaxed during the treatments.

In free time Bart enjoys playing football, going to the gym, going out with friends and travelling.

Lisa Hutson | Nutritional Therapist

Lisa is a Nutritional Therapist & Pilates instructor who has over 15 years experience supporting people to achieve their health and well-being goals.

Nutritional therapy recognises that you are an individual and through the functional medicine model supports you to improve your health by supporting the major systems of the body (skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, excretory, endocrine, immune, reproductive and integumentary [skin, hair, nails]). Typical priorities in nutritional therapy consultations include support to achieve optimum energy levels, healthy blood sugar balance, emotional and psychological wellbeing, optimum gastrointestinal health and tolerance to a broad range of food groups.

In order to support people to achieve optimal health Lisa can offer advice on supplementation and functional tests such as food intolerance testing, nutrient profiles and microbial profiles.

Lisa also offers 1-2-1 and group Pilates sessions; Pilates is a whole body approach to exercise supporting improved core function, strength, flexibility & posture as well as body awareness.

Dr Ewan Masson

Ewan Masson is a Consultant Physician with 30 years experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Internal Medicine.  He can provide medical advice for most aspects of training and health, and is also well connected to other medical professionals who may be better placed to advise on any issues outside of his expertise.

Ewan is notably experienced in sports medicine relating to diabetes & exercise. He was also one of the original members of an International Group: ‘Overdiagnosis – reducing the harms of too much medicine’ and is well placed to advise clients on medicine and lifestyle related illness.

Ewan is extremely highly qualified and his experience speaks for itself. Qualifications include: BSc MB ChB MD FRCP FRCP(I). Full registration is held with the GMC + license to practise.
