Frustrated by slow fat loss?

By September 22nd, 2023Health, Lifestyle

Is it as simple as just training hard and eating the right stuff when it comes to fat loss and weight loss goals?

Well for the Optimum3 team, not always. It’s not we’ve seen with the 100’s of clients we’ve worked with for successful weight loss and fat loss. That’s why at Optimum3 Personal Training we take it a few steps further. With an ethos on optimum health and each body being individual we think its key to put processes in place to get the best results for each of our clients.

Have you ever found that even though you’ve worked hard on the diet and exercise, progress continues to be slow or none existent?

We speak to many people who say “I’m trying really hard with what I’m eating and exercising more, but not seeing the results”. Never fear, we can change this!

Here are a few things we start with to ensure we get you to where you want to be and take the stress and frustration out of it all:

  • Health Appraisal Questionnaire – This takes a nice in depth look at your body and how it’s working for you. It looks at a few things such as adrenal and thyroid function, liver function musculoskeletal function and many more. Things that can effect fat loss success.
  • Health Check – This consists of a weight measurement, waist measurement (more of a priority than jumping on the scales) and skin fold measurements for body fat percentages. These are reviewed on a 2-4 weekly basis to measure progress. We also set clear goals that are set by you along with a motivational score for each goal. This allows us to be realistic but also to have an understanding of where we are and where we are going.
  • ‘Great Start’ Tests – These take a look at your bodies ability to absorb nutrients, fungal overgrowth, hydrochloric acid levels, heavy metals in the body, ph levels, and zinc levels.
  • Incorporating necessary realistic habit changes into your current lifestyle and schedule.

Once you’ve got these you’re well and truly on the road to a happier, more vibrant lifestyle.

Eat Well! Move Well! Live Well!
